Groatie Hoose

The Groatie Hoose is an eighteenth century garden folly which stood in the grounds of a Kirkwall mansion. Having fallen into disrepair, it was dismantled piece by piece, removed to a new site at the Orkney Museum and refurbished with the help of an HLF grant.

Leslie Burgher was conservation architect for the project for Pentarq.
